Admaston Juniors FC Summer Tournament 2023

17th June 2023 Telford, UK Football

Specific Opportunity Details:

Admaston Juniors FC are holding our second annual summer grassroots football tournament this August, over the weekend of 12th and 13th. The tournament, organised solely by volunteers from within the club, will feature competitions for eight different age groups, from under 7 up to under 14.

The tournament is run to both help raise funds for the club itself and cover the costs of keeping a grassroots club running (meeting the financial demands of pitch hire, facility upkeep, equipment, club insurance, kit for teams and so on), as well as providing an opportunity for children from both Telford and across the West Midlands and opportunity to play more football!

Over the two days of the tournament there are spaces for 80 teams to take part, meaning 1000 children can take part with their families and friends in attendance to support them. This is an increase on last year, when the event catered for 500 players.

We make the events family orientated and, whilst giving the teams a competitive environment in which to enjoy their football, make sure that the biggest factor is having a safe, welcoming environment for children to enjoy their football.

We are looking for an event sponsor/sponsors who would be willing to help support the tournament and help in the covering of costs that range from facility hire, marking or pitches, purchasing of medals and trophies, use of an online scoring app, printing of an event programme or provision of an online equivalent, first aid, referee fees, portable toilets etc.

In exchange for financial help in running the event, we are willing to include you branding/logo on all our event materials (such as programmes and information packs), event banners and signage, pitch markings and all promotional/advertising across our website and social media, as well as other grassroots website and social channels. We can also distribute any of your own printed media to those in attendance and display any advertising (such as feather flags, banners, boards) around the site across the weekend.

Our previous sponsors have also been included in local newspaper stories (https://www.shropshirestar.com/news/local-hubs/telford/2022/07/25/summer-tournament-attracts-500-young-soccer-players/) that reported on the success of our 2022 event.

We would also be happy to supply pictures for your personal use in any in-house media, social channels or press releases to further take advantage of you sponsorship and assistance in making our event a success.

We hope such support and promotion of being involved in the community will be mutually beneficial. I welcome any discussions regarding this and look forward to hearing from you.

Features and Benefits:

Your branding/logo including on our event advertising (via social media and grassroots tournament websites), programme of events, event banners, event signage, pitch markers, website and social media relating to the event.

We would be happy to make use of any materials that we can share via our website and social media, as well as any physical items (e.g. leaflets, brochures, one-pagers etc.) that we could hand out at the event, especially when taking payment for those using the on-site car park.

We would be happy to display any advertising you have available on-site, such a boards, feather flags or pop-out banners.

This is a grassroots community football event, so we can help build awareness of your brand(s)/company in the local area.

We are happy to provide photos from the weekend or have a photographer attend that is provided by yourselves to take any pictures you would like to use on your own website, social media or press (we take photo and GDPR consent as part of team registration).

Investment:

We are looking to raise £1000 in sponsorship. This does not need to be a full amount donation/sponsorship, as we are happy to accept smaller amounts that could cover individual costs, for example medals, trophies, the tournament app, cost of first aid etc.
